Panel Upgrades/New Circuits
Many homes and businesses that are more than 20 years old need upgrades. TV’s, microwave and convection ovens, and computers are just a few of the modern appliances that draw more power. A 100 Amp panel is frequently inadequate. Many customers choose to upgrade to 200 Amps which is the standard in modern construction. Ms Sparky will pull the permits and coordinate with both SDG&E and the city having jurisdiction. A load calculation is done to insure that there will be no overloads to the new system.
Many times a single circuit or two is plenty for an upgrade such as a kitchen or bath remodel. These can often be installed to the existing service without a total upgrade.
